Economy section references and dates

[edit]

Some of the statements in the Economy section have incomplete references or don't mention the time period for which it is applicable. Oafie123 (talk) 10:34, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

September 2024

[edit]

@Tejas pratihar: The article on Gujarat is not about Gurjars. So the origin of the Gurjars is irrelevant to the article. The etymology section covers what needs to be covered, that is the name is based on the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty. Etymologies are not necessary in the lead. What you have used as sources are unreliable - JoshuaProject, some Google docs and genetic articles, the latter while not reliable for WP:HISTRS doesn't even link Zagros to Gurjars, which is outside the scope of this article anyway. The only reliable source - this, mentions Gujarat being named after the Gurjara-Pratiharas, which is already covered, and not explicitly to the modern Gurjar caste/tribe. Also you have been edit warring. You should seek WP:CONSENSUS here in the talk page if reverted per WP:BRD, otherwise you might get blocked. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:55, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In "Religious Sites"...

[edit]

First of all, I am quite new to this, so please excuse/let me know about any mistakes I make. So in "Religious Sites" it is mentioned that " Somnath is the first of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and is mentioned in the Rigveda." And, it doesn't have any source nor anything else. I tried knowing a bit about it but it just circled me back to the same page. Afaik, none of them is a proven fact... Ace000000 (talk) 11:30, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
