[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Catfish. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:

Evolution
[edit]Many, if not most, similar articles have an evolution section. This does not. I came to it specifically to see any etymological relationship between the name and the Silurian period, and was disappointed. Someone qualified needs to add such a section.Toyokuni3 (talk) 18:39, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

diet?
[edit]hi I don't know much about editing wikipedia but I came to this page to find the catfish diet and it seems to be missing Phoenix51291 (talk) 02:17, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- That's because catfishes have a diverse range of diets, some being specialist feeders and others being generalist omnivores. Mr Fink (talk) 03:59, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Apokryltaros shouldn't that be mentioned in the article then? Phoenix51291 (talk) 05:32, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
