Omar
[edit]Abdul Razeq Abdullah Rifai is a spree killer. Why is he included? 2A00:801:78D:1D14:0:0:505F:7FA5 (talk) 03:01, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Removed. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 03:35, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Because he had also killed multiple people before his final spree killing, making him both a spree killer and a serial killer. William Unek is also here under that same logic. AgeOfPlastic (talk) 21:22, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- You can add it back if you want. I didn't see in his article where it said he actually killed anyone in 2008. It just said he was "involved". ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 21:50, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Actually the article says he killed 38 people in total, so it seems he was responsible for all the earlier deaths too. May be a bit of borderline case, but I'll restore the entry for the time being. Gawaon (talk) 06:20, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
- Actually that information was in the Meet al-Attar shooting article, but I just removed it, since after checking the sources, none of them says how many (if any) of the original 23 murders he committed himself. At least some, one might suspect, so he might still fit into this list. But since the sources aren't clear, I would certainly not object if the entry here is removed again. Gawaon (talk) 06:35, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
- On second thought, I have self-reverted and removed the entry from this list again, since here he was listed with 38 victims and that's just wrong and unsourced. We could merely list him with 15 / 15–38 victims, but without reliable information on how many of the earlier deaths he was found guilty for, that seems just vague speculation. Request to add Harald Shipman
[edit]was a british doctor suspected to kill as much as 215 patients of his. Unfortunately Police was able to gather evidence confirming only 15 kills, due to decomposition or cremation of most of his victims. 92.234.236.113 (talk) 21:19, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Shipman is in the list for medical deaths further down. Knitsey (talk) 21:21, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
Request to remove Daniela Poggiali
[edit]Daniela Poggiali was exonerated in 2021. --83.226.113.94 (talk) 09:04, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
- Done. I had overlooked that request and so, it seems, had everybody else. But I have removed her now, thanks for letting us know! Gawaon (talk) 16:06, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
Jack The Ripper/Aaron Kosminski
[edit]I didn't see him in the article. But he is definitely a serial killer. 210.50.59.118 (talk) 06:17, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- He's on the page List of serial killers before 1900. This page is for 20th and 21st century serial killers. OsFish (talk) 06:32, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
